Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose the right Alaskan Camper?

Start with your truck’s capacity, how many people travel with you, and the features you need. Compare floor plans and equipment in our Buyer’s Guides.

Will an Alaskan Camper fit my truck?

Fit depends on bed dimensions and your truck’s capacity to carry the fully loaded camper. Share your truck details with us before choosing a model.

What’s the difference between slide-in and flatbed campers?

Slide-in campers fit inside a pickup bed. Flatbed campers mount on a flatbed and offer different floor plans, including rear-dinette layouts.

How is the HS 640 different from the original Alaskan?

The HS 640 uses insulated composite panels and an aluminum-and-PVC thermal-break frame. Original Alaskans feature a hard-sided pop-up design that lowers for travel.

Can I buy an in-stock camper instead of ordering a build?

Yes. Browse our current inventory for prebuilt campers, or order a build with your preferred layout, finishes, and options.

Is financing available?

Yes, through our partner Elite Recreational Finance. Alaskan does not provide financing directly.

How do I start an order?

Contact us to discuss your truck, preferred model, and options. We’ll review compatibility and prepare a proposal outlining your build and price.
