We’re heading back to Colorado for Overland Expo Mountain West. You’ll find Alaskan Campers at booth F307, right next to our local friends at Juniper Overland.
Mountain West brings more than 300 exhibitors and 150 classes, demonstrations, and activities to The Ranch in Loveland. Between the training sessions, new equipment, and several hundred truck and motorcycle builds, it’s one of the better places to compare setups, ask detailed questions, and meet people who spend a lot of time traveling beyond pavement.
The 2026 Show Route So Far
Mountain West is our ninth stop on the 2026 Alaskan Campers event calendar. We started the year in Denver at the International Sportsmen’s Expo, followed by the Pacific Northwest Sportsmen’s Show in Portland and Overland Adventure in San Diego. From there, we returned to Denver for the Great American RV Show before joining the Overland Expo crowd in Costa Mesa for SoCal and Flagstaff for Expo West.
June took us to Leadville for the Juniper Jamboree and then to Redmond for Overland Expo PNW. That weekend gave visitors their first in-person look at the HS 640, displayed alongside our Bowen Customs 800 Flatbed. The questions were specific: payload, bed length, power capacity, water, storage, and how each camper would work on an actual trip. Three Alaskans, Side by Side
We’re bringing the HS 640 and 800 Flatbed to booth F307. Directly next door, Juniper Overland, our newest Colorado dealer and the crew behind Denver’s truck camper showroom, will have an 800 slide-in with the Klondike interior package.
Our two rigs are arriving with some recent road experience. The HS 640 and 800 Flatbed went straight from the PNW show floor into a seven-day trip across the Pacific Northwest. Christina Luppi of Huntress Offroad took the 800 Flatbed, while Colten Stephens of Reality Film Co. drove the HS 640. Their route covered Long Beach’s open sand, a tight trail near the Hoh River with mud, ruts, and water crossings, and two separate attempts at getting a clear view of Mount Rainier.
The HS 640 is a hard-sided, fixed-roof camper starting around 1,200 pounds dry. It was designed to fit a wider range of trucks than our previous hard-sided models, including many with standard 6.5-foot beds.
The 800 Flatbed pairs more storage and capacity with an all-aluminum Bowen Customs flatbed made in Arvada, Colorado. Its low deck maintains the factory bed floor height, helping keep the camper’s center of gravity where it belongs.
Juniper’s 800 represents the traditional slide-in side of the lineup, with the Klondike package adding warmer wood-grain finishes and durable seating materials.
With all three campers a few steps apart, you can compare a lightweight fixed-roof model, a full flatbed build, and a traditional slide-in in one visit. Bring your truck specs (or a photo of your payload sticker), and tell us how you plan to travel. We can use these campers as reference points while discussing your truck, available payload, and other models and configurations across the Alaskan lineup.
